MethodPer shirtTotalGood to know

Estimates of typical 2026 US printer prices including the blank shirt and set-up, before shipping and tax. Real quotes vary with the garment, colors and promotions: use this to sanity-check quotes, then compare printers.

Enter your quantity, shirt quality and print locations. The estimator compares screen printing, DTG, DTF and embroidery and highlights the cheapest method for your order.

How the estimate works

Each method has a different cost structure: screen printing has set-up per ink color but cheap prints at volume; DTG and DTF have no set-up but a higher cost per print; embroidery has a one-time digitizing fee. We combine typical 2026 US decorator prices with the blank shirt cost.

Use it to

  • Sanity-check a quote before you order.
  • See how many shirts you need before screen printing gets cheaper.
  • Decide whether a back print is worth the extra cost.

Then compare printers in our rankings.
